Love Sad

On a spit of land in the middle of uninhabited mountain wilderness, the market of Khau Vai love is held once a year, exactly the 27th day of 3rd lunar month. Not offered goods, sellers, or buyers, it is overdue for an appointment in freedom lovers of all ages. Some, for one reason or another, could not marry, come to make confidences. Others to find a soul mate. Still others for knowledge.

This corner of the town of Khau Vai, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province, bordering China, suddenly seems to wake up that day and fill up with an animation that are found nowhere else .

In the spring, a period of celebration of the Vietnamese. In a festive atmosphere very friendly, it seems to have a lighter heart. The inhabitants of the mountainous province of Ha Giang, mostly members of ethnic minorities, are eagerly preparing for a romantic reunion during this annual meeting. The day, from early morning, people from various villages in tributary number by a small trail usual desert. They are of all ages: Jouvenceaux Jouvencelle or young adults, thirty or more ... and all-ethnic groups in North Vietnam: H'Mong, Nung, Dao, Tay, Kinh ... The pilgrimage draws sometimes whole families. Each of them dream of love and waiting impatiently to meet him in the friendly atmosphere of the market for love. And forget the fatigue of walking on a path winding over hill and dale.
